Annette Gebbie

Annette GebbieAnnette's career has spanned 35 years in the New Zealand fashion industry.

Annette began her training as a Tailor in Christchurch.  In between getting married and raising a family, Annette tutored garment construction privately in Auckland for 18 years.  For 10 years, Annette ran a production unit in Auckland for some of New Zealand's most well known labels such as Karen Walker and Trelise Cooper.  Freelance designing and making Bridal garments allowed Annette to concentrate her experience in the wedding and after five wear.  Annette has spent the last twelve years lecturing at Auckland University of Technology, Bachelor of Design Degree focusing on fashion, pattern making, garment construction, costume design, tailoring and sportswear.   Annette is presently working as a lecturer of Fashion and Design at Auckland University of Technology.

Diane Smith

Diane SmithBA, ATCL

Diane is an experienced ESOL teacher.  She is effective and very caring, designing classes which are lively and resourceful reflecting her extensive experience working with people of different cultures.  She specialises in Academic writing and reading which has been helpful to those students aspiring to sit the Academic/General IELTS exam, or further their understanding of standards required for future post-graduate study in New Zealand.

Students from her class have gone on to find employment in their chosen fields or acceptance to tertiary courses to further their education.

Julie Kilroy

Julie KilroyCommunity Education Coordinator

Julie has been a member of the Glenfield Community since late childhood including attending Glenfield College.  She has been involved in various Administration and Financial roles over the years and comes with great local knowledge of the community and is well established to be in a position to listen and to serve.

“I know how hard it can be to further yourself, both in understanding and making the time.  I have completed various night classes and online courses over the years myself, including completing an on-line Diploma in Photography.

I look forward to the opportunity to develop a wider program and broader range of subjects for our local community.”

Julie is passionate about people’s learning and relishes the chance to help people take up new hobbies, or further their Learning Journey.

Lisa Reynolds

Lisa Reynolds has completed a National Diploma in Business Studies from AUT, Bachelor of Business Studies, NZIM Certificate of Management, Small Business management Certificate, On the job trainers certificate and meeting the requirements for membership to the Chartered Accountants, Accounting Technicians College.

Lisa has worked in the accounting field for over 22 years, including 4 years in Auckland Chartered Accounting firms, 2 years as a Company Accountant and 16 years owning her own businesses.

Certified as a Trainer for Xero, Lisa delivers informative courses that help our Students get the most out what they are learning in a straight forward easy to understand way.

Richard Vernall

Richard is passionate about the industry he works in having placed people from of all walks of life into employment since 1990. Richard has presented to groups in IT at Sky City and Auckland Town Hall through Accelerating Aotearoa industry events 2006-2009 and to people returning to work through the Massey Employment Gateway Programme in 2013. Richard holds a Graduate Diploma in Career Development and a Certificate in Adult Teaching. He has been a professional member of CDANZ since 2002.richard vernall


Veronique Guilloteau

Veronique Gulloteau

Véronique is a French native, with diplomas in Industrial Relations Psychology and Business Management.  She worked in France as the Human Resources Manager for a couple of large corporations.  She has been teaching French language and French culture in New Zealand for the last 20 years and lives on the North Shore.
